Flooded Batteries
This technology has been around since 1859 when invented by Gaston Plante. It is used for back-up power in UPS, Telecom and Utility Industries.
Steel Cased and Absolyte Batteries
Back-up Power applications can use Stackable Batteries in Steel Cases. Some manufacturers of these types have Cadmium in them.
